Up, Up and Away!

Finally, we've reached the fun aspect of producing documentary media. It's been about one year of planning, training, driving, walking, and shooting and we're to the point of sharing this wonderful community project with any captive audience.

Our premiere screening event at the Central Atlanta-Fulton County Library was a success and we're planning to host more great events in the future, which will help make this project more accessibile to communities in the metro Atlanta area.

In addition to our local screenings, this documentary can be seen on People TV (Comcast Channel 24 in Atlanta) or you can catch clips on the web (www.peopletv.org/sidewalkstories).

The intention of this blog is to open up a line of communication for those who have seen Sidewalk Stories and wish to comment on the documentary's content. Keep in mind People TV's mission is to provide Atlanta a voice through access to media and opinios expressed in the content do not always represent the opinions of the organization. However, we love to here and discuss topics as well as learn about ways this project impacts the community.

Thanks,
Antoine Haywood
Director of Community Development
